When Does Teething Start

However others may have it as young as three months. By age three years most children have all their baby teeth already. A chewable baby teething necklace can help relieve the pressure on gums. Plus it’s quite affordable and convenient. The problem with teething is that infants will chew on anything even dirty objects as long as they can grab it. This in turn might cause diarrhea. By providing a child with something clean to chew on, he or she can help control the pain without the risk of getting harmful germs into his or her system.
As of the moment it is not very clear how amber teething necklaces can help relieve teething pains. Manufacturers claim that amber teething necklaces can help sooth painful and inflamed gums by releasing succinic acid, which is believed to be an anti-inflammatory substance.

Care for Teething Necklaces

A baby teething necklace needs to be cleaned regularly to make sure they do not harbor harmful organisms. It also has to be inspected regularly for leaks or breaks in the cord. Broken necklaces have to be thrown out and loose beads must be removed.
